NBA Live is a series of high-budget simulation basketball video games, but as of recently the name is fading. NBA Live is the main competitor to the NBA2K series, with both franchises releasing a yearly installment. Until recently.

NBA Live hasn't seen a release since 2018 (NBA Live 2019) with the yearly release being cancelled with vague reasoning.

I tried my hand at an hypothetical announcement for the first NBA Live game in over 6 years.
