Section one: Project overview. CBC Listen reimagined to be streamlined for a seamless and enriched listening experience

The redesign aimed to address these challenges by implementing a simpler and more youthful design, with a focus on modern aesthetics and user-friendly features. The goal was to make the CBC Listen app more appealing to a broader audience. This involves overhauling the user interface and enhancing navigation to create a more intuitive and contemporary user experience.

CBC Listen current design. The old CBC Radio app made it challenging to access favorite podcasts and music efficiently. Users faced a convoluted process, causing frustration and hindering seamless content enjoyment. The redesign prioritizes a streamlined approach for quicker and more user-friendly access to favorited content.

The new user flow. The redesigned CBC Music app introduces a streamlined user flow for effortless content exploration and social sharing. Users experience simplified navigation and quick access to favorites, with the goal of enhancing overall satisfaction and engagement.
